Eric Davison debuts his first solo show in our Project Room this Friday. Davison was a part of my curated 'Kids are Alright' Tour but is one of the most talented recent graduates from Art Center in Pasadena. Davison spent weeks with the costumed characters on Hollywood Boulevard and documented their lives on both the street and in their homes.
His amazing photorealistic portraits show both the humor and despair in the lives of the men and women who play dress up for tourists. We are certainly looking forward to his new show and if you have not seen Eric's work in person you should definitely keep an eye out for him as an artist to watch, starting now.
